September 26 (8:15pm, $7) — DAVID HAWKINS — CD Release, with Clark Sommers — A singer-songwriter who found Chicago by way of Tulsa, Detroit & New Orleans, and picked up flavors wherever he lived. Songs tough and gentle, where flesh and spirit meet, and where one's soul is on the line.

Friday October 3 (8:15pm, $7) — FEBRUARY SKY — CD Release, with Joe Wadz & Elaine Wagner — Traditional singer & expert Celtic guitarist Phil Cooper joins singer-songwriter Susan Urban in old & new songs with intricate instrumentals. Guitar, cittern, banjo, dulcimer.

Friday October 10 (8:15pm, $7) — CAMPEAU & CRAIG — Jim & Vivian Craig and Mitch Thomas & Fred Campeau in an ukeclectic show that brings a smile, and maybe a tear or two. Old, new and blue songs with tight vocal blends, plus ukuleles, guitars, banjo, and concertina.

Friday October 17 (8:15pm, $7) — THE CAROLINES (Andrea Bustin and Amy Plante) — Sisters weave new melodies and lyrics into old time banjo music. Classical training, effortless performance with intricate harmonies and expert claw hammer banjo technique.

Friday October 24 (8:15pm, $7) — DEAN MILANO TRIO Original folk, pop, bluegrass and more by a veteran of rock, blues, folk and jazz bands. Joined by guitarist Jay Whitehouse and fiddler Jordi Kleiner, his story songs relate true experiences. 3 excellent CDs!

Friday October 31 (8:15pm, $7) — ZACHARY SCOT JOHNSON Young Wisconsin songwriter/actor with "...the smooth guitar lines of James Taylor, the spunk of Joni Mitchell, the vocals of Elvis Costello, and the songwriting ability of all three. (The Lawrentian)
