Sing-Arounds
Saturdays June 1 & 15, July 6 & 20, August 6 & 20. (2:00-4:00pm, $1) — Our popular song circles where beginners and experienced musicians can learn and/or share songs. Listeners and singers welcome too! Songbooks provided. Plank Road Folk Music Society co-sponsors. First and third Saturday afternoons of each month.

Bluegrass Jams
Saturdays May 25, June 22, July 27. (2:00-4:00pm, $1) — Musicians of all experience levels gather to improve skills, learn/share tunes, and have fun!. Fourth Saturday of each month, 2:00-4:00pm. Plank Road Folk Music Society is co-sponsor.

LAST THURSDAY Open Mike
Thursdays May 31, June 28, July 25. (7:00-9:30pm, free) — A monthly unplugged open mike for high school and college age students on the last Thursday of every month. Saturday June 22 (9:00am - 4:30pm Free!) — ROTARY GROVEFEST FOLK STAGE —
Downers Gove Rotary GroveFest is the successor to the long-running Heritage Festival. Smaller, but otherwise similar, and FUN! Street fair, food, rides, beer garden, craft fair, entertainment stages, car show... on the fourth full weekend in June, Thursday through Sunday. Our Folk Stage has returned too, on Saturday in Fishel Park, (just behind the Two Way Street) in the new Veterans Memorial Pavilion (band shell). Join us for a very entertaining show!
